DailySteps is a walking and step-tracking application designed to help users monitor activity, goals, streaks, challenges, and fitness estimates.
DailySteps may store the following information locally on your device: name, height, weight, stride length, daily step goal, step history, streak information, challenge progress, theme settings, reminder preferences, and other app preferences.
The app requests Android physical activity permission so it can read step-count information from the device step sensor. Step history and related calculations are used to provide the app's core walking and fitness features.
If you enable walking reminders, DailySteps requests notification permission and uses it to deliver reminders at the time you choose.
DailySteps uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may process device identifiers and related information for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and, where permitted, personalization. Where required, DailySteps uses Google's consent tools to request and manage advertising privacy choices before requesting ads.
Your DailySteps profile, goals, preferences, and step history are stored locally in the current version. The app does not operate its own account server or cloud database for this information. Advertising-related data may be processed by Google AdMob according to Google's own policies.
You can clear saved step history from the DailySteps Settings screen. You can also remove local app data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
Distance, calorie, BMI, active-time, and goal suggestions are estimates only. DailySteps is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
DailySteps is not specifically designed for children.
